The precast concrete cores and lift shafts have been fully completed with the top sections visible from Winwick Quay, Golden Square shopping centre and further afield.
The steel connection brackets are now being welded into position ready for the delivery and subsequent fitting of the structural steel frame from Monday next week.
The site team have also been extremely busy preparing the site for Friday’s Charity Hog Roast Afternoon with live music. We invited stakeholders, members of the supply chain and local businesses to attend site, meet the team, sign a steel beam as a project legacy and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
