T Level Science: Laboratory Science

Are you interested in working with Science in a practical way? Did you know there are technical jobs in everything from chocolate laboratories to cleaning up rivers, biochemical analysis, dealing with hazardous materials, biomedical research and development and even food development and testing.

Our Science pathway will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed for an exciting career in the Science industry, such as Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Marine Sciences.

At Post-16

During your two-year T Level programme, you will combine classroom theory, practical learning and a minimum 45 days of industry placement with an employer to make sure you have real experience of the workplace. During this time you will learn the core knowledge that underpins the Science Industry and will develop occupational specific skills that will allow you to progress into highly skilled employment, an Apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.
