Data Protection
The General Data Protection Regulation is a new law that came into effect from 25th May 2018.
The law applies to all organisations that handle or use personal data and this includes schools and colleges.
The law means that organisations are no longer allowed to use or share your personal information without your consent.
As a college, we do hold personal data, for example, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth etc but this is in never shared or used by any third party organisations that we employ to store this information.
All personal data on the college operating systems are held securely.

UTC Warrington has adopted the Model Publication Scheme for the public sector issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The ICO expects public authorities to adopt the Model Publication Scheme without modification.
