UTC Warrington is a University Technical College that combines the specialist curriculum and employer partnerships with the pastoral care and support that is traditionally offered by secondary schools and academies. On this page you can find out more about the UTC and the day-to-day operations.
Parent Pay
UTC Warrington is a cashless site. Purchases of food and drink on the college site is made by using the student ID card which is linked to Parent Pay.
This system allows parents/carers to add credit to a students’ account so that they can purchase lunch and break refreshments. Parents/carers can also request limits for their accounts and can monitor purchases that are made on the college site.
Parent Pay is also used for any uniform, trips or revision materials that require payment.

Class Charts
All important messages from UTC Warrington are communicated via Class Charts; this includes whole school messages and communications about individual student information.

Travelling to UTCW
The UTC building is situated on Dallam Lane, close to Warrington Central Railway Station and Warrington Bus Interchange. Transport access to the building is excellent.
Bus
Warrington Interchange is located a few minutes from the college building. The interchange is served by local buses from across Warrington and other operators serve areas including St Helens, Widnes, Irlam, and Liverpool.

Train
The UTC is located opposite Warrington Central. This station is served by trains between Liverpool and Manchester via Widnes.
Warrington Bank Quay is on the West Coast Mainline and is ten-minute walk from UTCW. This station has connections to Earlestown, Crewe and Wigan.

Car
UTC Warrington has no dedicated car park. If you are travelling to the college by car, please use one of the nearby pay & display facilities which are located next door to the UTC building. There is no designated drop off point outside the college building. Please use alternative drop off locations (Winwick Street/Warrington Central) to avoid Dallam Lane becoming congested at peak times.
